Bikepark Leogang's "Opening Weekend"

Leogang – Pure freeriding pleasure is only a few days away! From Saturday May 10th till Monday 12th, Bikepark Leogang celebrates its “2008 Opening Weekend". The tracks are being groomed, and new variations and lines are being built to improve the already amazing Bikepark Leogang. In February, the Nissan White Style presented by Kona was a great preview for the upcoming season in Bikepark Leogang. Now the “HU Cooperation” is in full effect. The experienced shapers are preparing huge berms including some wood wallrides on the infamous “Flying Gangster” freeride track. The “Lumberjack Trail” next to the railway station is being spiced up with more north shore elements as well. Starting on Saturday May 10th, you will be able to ride the revamped Bikepark Leogang. The new trail flow and the brand new Kona bikes are waiting for you in Leogang. These improvements are not the only ones for the 2008 season in Leogang, there is more to come in the next few weeks. A new run parallel to “Flying Gangster” will provide some fresh jumps and north shore elements including a chicken line. Tickets are 15% off until the mountain station opens for bikers – as the peak is still snow-capped. The deals don’t end there. Season passes to Bikepark Leogang are on sale for 194,- Euros, and GraVity season tickets, covering all leading Austrian bike parks (Bikepark Leogang, Adidas Freeride & X-Line Saalbach Hinterglemm, Mountainbikepark Wagrain, Bikepark Zauberberg Semmering and Planai-BikePark) are only 320,- Euros. August 1st – 3rd (Friday until Sunday): Kona Demo Tour: test the newest Kona bikes like the Coilair series, with the new Magic Link technology. September 21st (Sunday): iXS European Downhill Cup grand finals. October 17th – 19th (Friday until Sunday): Closing Weekend, celebrating the last days of the bike season 2008.
